Everything is made to order. Fish and chips were nice and hot, crispy, and well seasoned! 10/10 would get again. All the staff were lovely and greeted everyone with smiles Prices are fairly affordable, the fish n chips come with one piece of fish by default, I added another piece and the total (after tax) was under 12 for a generous portion of perfectly fried fish and skinny fries.

Absolutely love Sunnyside. The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Ruby (my dog) also loves visiting and sitting outside to wait and meet the crew! Thanks for the continued food and friendship!

But the real culinary magic happens in their kitchen. Their in-house prepared foods are delicious. From savory fish and chips to hearty poutines and mouthwatering sandwiches, there's something to satisfy most craving. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their products. They're always happy to offer recommendations and personalized service, making your shopping experience even more enjoyable. I felt that sunnyside has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. With its warm lighting and friendly staff, you'll feel right at home as you browse the shelves and savour your delicious finds.

This is one of a kind standalone Food Emporium, the owners/staff are absolutely spectacular, they are very friendly enjoy good conversation even if the place is crazy busy the staff always make you feel welcome when you enter the store and always willing to help out if you don’t know what you’re looking for...Prepared meals are to die for we used to get those boxed company brands to deliver meals to our home, but we now come to Sunnyside Provisions to get all of our prepared meals, you can’t beat home cooking and prices are very reasonable for meals that are cooked with love and passion. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Homemade dip like the spicy dill is to die for!! Do you like fish and chips?, some of the best fish and chips I’ve had and their pulled pork sandwich and other takeaway items are made with the same care and passion...a wonderful selection of wine and beer can be purchased here. It’s a one stop shop and the one thing that I admire is that the owners/staff pay attention to the fine details of running a business like this, this is always a wonderful shopping experience. I ABSOLUTELY love this place and if you’re in the Roncesvalles Village area you need to give this place a try...You won’t be disappointed...Trust me on this one

Ordered the meatball sub with fish (with an extra fish) and chips and a side of gravy, all of which were reasonable priced. The fish was fried to perfection. The batter was so thin, crispy and flaky and the fish was tender and moist. The bun for the meatball sub was really soft and the meatballs flavourful. The gravy went perfectly with the fries as well. Service and vibe were great. I would definitely come back here and try their other dishes.

What a great little shop! Great selection of British, Mexican and other gourmet goodies! Their fresh counter is great - sloppy Joe, poutine, Coleslaw and the soft serve was delicious (with a flake!) VERY friendly staff as well, and affordable. Pulled pork was also excellent. My only downside is that I wish I lived closer!

Even if their fish & chips weren't some of the best in the city, 9 for a generous portion is incredible value. Very worth the upgrade to a poutine as well. Their selection of premade food, drinks, and other gourmet goods is worth a look as well. The selection is fantastic even if the prices will make up for some of the value of your meal!

The take out here is great with generous portions for the price. The fish and chips with a poutine upgrade and an orange soda cost 17 total with tax. It was excellent! There's no seating inside but you might grab one of their patio tables outside if the weather's nice and you're lucky. There are also lots of prepared foods to buy, and I was delighted to see all sorts of local Toronto business names alongside their own in-house products. I'm also very glad that there's a range of prices here too for goods, so in my opinion it's pretty accessible. There are dairy goods, snacks, breads, meats, a couple homewares, and the back had a bottle shop. All and all, a great experience, and the staff was super friendly too. Can't wait to go back again!
